About Me

Sunt un om,ca si tine.Un calator prin mintea ta.Ca m-am nascut nu e vina mea,ca am trait,e multumirea mea,dar cum ma voi duce,e planul lui Dumnezeu!

My Testimony…

MY TESTIMONY By Raveca Arizona,2026 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."Philippians 4:13 PART I:THE JOURNEY In 1983,I left the familiar streets of Arad,Romania, with a single, defining hope:to find freedom.Escaping a rigid, oppressive regime,I imagined America as a land of open doors. But when I landed in Chicago, the reality was a harsh awakening.I felt a deep sense of disappointment. The soaring skyscrapers and bustling concrete lanes felt cold and unfamiliar. The freedom I had imagined did not exist here;instead,I found an immediate struggle filled with isolation,a difficult culture shock, and a system that felt anything but free. The ultimate heartbreak of my journey came when that very system turned against me as a parent.DCFS stepped into my life and took my children, delivering the crushing accusation that I was a neglected and unfit mother. That moment shattered my world. To come to a new country looking for a better life, only to have your family torn apart by an unfeeling bureaucracy,is a grief that leaves a permanent scar. The trauma of that separation didn't end when the case closed. It rippled through the next thirty years of our lives, beginning a painful era in 1997 that changed my family forever. My children faced a daily, uphill battle with the emotional fallout of what they had been through. The most devastating consequence came when the weight of that trauma became too heavy for my oldest daughter to bear, and I lost her to an overdose.Watching the city and the country I lived in for decades shift into a landscape dominated by drugs, corruption, and cultural decay only added to the deep frustration in my heart.Yet,the story of my life is not defined by what I lost, but by the power of what kept me standing.Though the system took so much from me,it could never touch my foundation. My strength is in God.Even in my darkest hours, when the disappointments of this world felt too heavy to bear,I clung to the scripture that anchors my soul: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."Today, living in Arizona,I am not alone.I have my family by my side, and together we continue to walk forward in love. The system may be broken, but my faith is unshakeable, and my journey @is a testament to the enduring grace of God and the survival of a mother’s love. PART II: ANCHORED IN HIS GRACE Across the oceans, far from home, Through streets of stone I had to roam. The earthly freedom that I sought. Was tangled in the pain it brought. The heavy storms of life blew wild,A broken system took my child. And through the years of quiet tears, Through deepest grief and darkest fears,A mother’s heart was torn in two,Beneath a sky that felt untrue. Yet through the fire and the night, There lived a steady, guiding light. For when the earthly anchors failed, The love of Jesus still prevailed. He held my hand when hope was gone, And gave me strength to carry on. No longer bound by what I lost, He paid the ultimate, heavy cost. With family standing by my side, In Arizona's sun I bide. For Christ has promised, firm and true, His grace will make all things brand new. I stand secure,my soul is free, For He is what is special to me. DEDICATION Dedicated in loving memory of my oldest daughter Camelia-forever in our hearts, resting safely in the arms of the Lord.Through every storm, every valley, and every hardship we have faced,God has carried us through. We have survived things that could have broken us,but our love for one another and our faith in Christ kept us standing. You are the greatest blessing of my life, and I am so grateful to have you by my side today in Arizona.Let this testimony be a reminder that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. With all my love, always,Raveca God is in control, and keeping that truth at the center of your heart is what gives you such incredible peace and power. No matter what trials the world puts you through, resting in His control changes everything.Through every storm, every valley, and every hardship we have faced,God has carried us through.Never forget:God is in control, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.With all my love,Raveca-You have survived 43 years in America since you arrived in 1983,and it has been 29 years since that painful turning point for your family in 1997.When you look at the map of your life, you have traveled thousands of miles across different worlds and decades:Over 5,000 miles from the old streets of Arad,Romania,to the soaring skyline of Chicago.Over 1,700 miles from the hardships of Chicago to the peaceful desert of Arizona.Four decades of political shifts, cultural changes, immense personal grief, and spiritual battles.Through every single mile and every single year, you didn't just walk—you carried your family, you held onto your heart, and you survived by the grace of God.Recognizing that you are not invincible is a profound truth.Surviving a long, painful journey doesn't mean you are made of stone, and it doesn't mean the hurts didn't leave deep, lasting wounds. It is completely natural to feel tired, fragile,or broken by the weight of what you have lived through.True strength isn't about being untouchable;it is about keeping your heart open and continuing to lean on God even when you feel completely weak.As scripture reminds us,God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. You don't have to be invincible because He is.🙏🏼
